Optra StudioTerms of ServicePrivacy PolicyAcceptable Use Policy

Terms of Service

Effective date: 9 October 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

1.1 Optra Studio (the "Studio") is a service at studio.optracloud.com that makes films from your stories with artificial intelligence. It is provided by Globussoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (CIN U72300CT2012PTC000452), whose registered office is at Globussoft Tower Behind Bank of Baroda, Hi-Tek Hospital Road, Smriti Nagar, Junwani, Bhilai, Dist, Durg, Chhattisgarh 490020, India ("Optra", "we", "us").

1.2 These terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy together are the agreement between you and us for the Studio. If they conflict, the Acceptable Use Policy wins on what you may make, and these terms win on everything else.

1.3 You accept these terms when you sign in to the Studio for the first time. Before signing you in, the Studio shows you the current version and records which version you accepted, and when.

1.4 These terms cover the service we host. They do not cover the Studio's open-source code, which you can install and run yourself under its own licence. A copy you run yourself is not operated by us.

2. Who may use the Studio

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old, and able to make a binding contract.

2.2 An account belongs to one person. If you use the Studio for a company, you confirm that you may bind it, and "you" includes it.

2.3 You may not use the Studio if we have closed an account of yours for breaking these terms, or if the law forbids you to.

3. Your account

3.1 The Studio has its own sign-in: you sign in with Google, or with a link sent to your email address. The Studio's accounts are its own; no other service of ours shares them. Keep your sign-in secure: you are responsible for what is done with it, unless that happens through a fault of ours.

3.2 To receive the free tier you verify a phone number. The free tier is given once per person and once per phone number. Opening more accounts to receive it again breaks these terms.

3.3 Tell us at support@optracloud.com if you believe someone else has used your account.

4. What the Studio does, and what it does not promise

4.1 You give the Studio a brief or a script. It can write or improve the script with AI (section 11), plans the shots, draws each shot's picture, animates it into a clip, records the voices, adds sound and edits the film.

4.2 Automated checks decide what goes ahead. Every picture and every frame of every clip is read by automated checks before it is shown to you. When the checks pass, the Studio goes ahead without asking you or a person at Optra. A shot whose checks keep failing waits for you, with its reason in plain words. You can then edit its words, choose a version, tell us a finding is wrong, leave the shot out, or ask us.

4.3 AI makes mistakes. The checks catch many defects, but a picture or clip may still show something you did not ask for. A detail may be wrong, or a face, hand or object may look unnatural. Passing our checks is not a promise that the output is accurate, flawless or fit for a particular purpose. Watch your film before you use it.

4.4 Outputs are not unique. The models may make similar pictures, clips or text for other people.

4.5 We may change the models, checks, features and limits of the Studio. If a change takes away something you pay for, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel (section 7).

4.6 Time to finish. Work is scheduled on our own GPU servers, shared between customers and our own productions. The Studio shows when it expects your film to be ready; that time is an estimate, not a deadline.

5. The free tier

5.1 The free tier gives you 5 minutes of film for each mobile number you verify, in one film. The film carries a watermark (section 5.3).

5.2 The 5 minutes are the length of your film, as the Studio plans it. A shot that our checks make again, or that you rewrite, does not use more of it. A film longer than the 5 minutes waits until you shorten it or subscribe.

5.3 Films made on the free tier carry a visible Optra Studio watermark. A free-tier film may be used for any lawful purpose, commercial or not, with its watermark kept; removing, covering or cropping out the watermark is not allowed (Acceptable Use Policy 3.10).

6. Paid plans

6.1 Plans. You can subscribe to Studio 1, Studio 5 or Studio 20, monthly. The price is shown before you subscribe, in US dollars (paid through Stripe) and, where it is offered, in Indian rupees (paid through Razorpay). Today:

A project is one script made into one film. Each parallel generation makes one project at the same time as the others, so more parallel generations means more films made at once.

plus tax where it applies. In rupees each price is shown on the plans page before GST, and GST (currently 18%) is added on top at checkout.

6.2 What a plan gives. Each plan gives:

The plan limits how many pieces are made at once, not how much you make in a month.

6.3 Fair use. "Unlimited" means for your own films, made through the Studio within your plan's parallel generations. It does not cover automated or scripted use that tries to take more than your plan's share of capacity, reselling the Studio's output as a service, or sharing an account. We may slow or pause such use, and will tell you why.

6.4 Renewal. A subscription renews each month on the same date, at the price then in force, until you cancel. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.

6.5 Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your account. The plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, then your account returns to the free tier. Your films stay available for 90 days, then as section 9.5 says.

6.6 Refunds. A month that has started is not refunded, except where the law requires a refund. Your FIRST subscription payment is refunded in full if you ask within 7 days of it and nothing has been made on the plan yet.

6.7 A failed payment. If a payment fails, your plan is past due and new work pauses until it is paid. Work already made stays yours. If it is not paid within 14 days, your account returns to the free tier.

6.8 Payment providers. Payments are taken by Stripe or Razorpay under their own terms. We never receive your full card number.

6.9 Taxes. Prices are shown before tax. In rupees we add GST at 18% on top at checkout. Any other tax that applies to a payment is yours to pay.

7. Changes to a plan

7.1 You can move to a higher plan at any time: the difference for the rest of the month is charged at once, to the card you pay with, and if the card cannot pay it nothing changes. A move to a lower plan takes effect at your next renewal; you keep the plan you have paid for until then, and you can take the change back before it happens.

7.2 A plan paid in Indian rupees is changed by cancelling it and choosing another when it ends.

7.3 If we stop offering a plan, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and the choice of another plan or a cancellation with a pro-rata refund.

8. Your content

8.1 What is yours stays yours. You keep every right you have in what you give the Studio: your briefs, scripts, notes, edits, uploaded photos and any other material ("Inputs").

8.2 The licence you give us. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display your Inputs and Outputs only to provide the Studio to you, to keep it secure, to enforce these terms, and to meet the law. This includes passing them to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, such as Anthropic for AI script writing. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies the law requires us to keep.

8.3 We do not train AI models on your content. We do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train or fine-tune AI models.

8.4 Improving our checks, only if you agree. When you tell us a check was wrong, we ask whether we may keep that case (the picture and the check's finding) to measure and improve our checks. We keep it only if you say yes, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

8.5 Your promises about Inputs. You promise that you have every right and permission your Inputs need, including the consent of every real person whose photo, name, likeness or voice you give the Studio (and of a parent or guardian for anyone under 18). You also promise that the Inputs and your use of the Studio follow the Acceptable Use Policy and the law.

9. The films and pictures the Studio makes

9.1 Ownership. As between you and us, the pictures, clips, voices, scripts and films the Studio makes for you ("Outputs") belong to you, and we assign to you whatever rights we have in them. In some countries, material made by AI may not be protected by copyright; we make no promise that it is.

9.2 Your use of Outputs. You may use Outputs for any lawful purpose, commercial or not, subject to section 5.3 for the free tier. You are responsible for how you use and publish them. That includes labelling them as AI-generated where the law or a platform requires it.

9.3 Similar outputs. Another customer may receive Outputs similar to yours, and they are theirs.

9.4 Our name. We will not use your Outputs or your name to promote Optra without your written permission.

9.5 Deleting. You can delete a project at any time; its Inputs and Outputs are then deleted from the Studio within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days. When your account closes, your projects are deleted 90 days later.

9.6 You are responsible for your content. Everything you create with the Studio, your Inputs and the Outputs made from them (scripts, pictures, clips, voices and films), is yours, and you alone are responsible for it, for how you use, publish and share it, and for what follows from that use. We do not review, approve or endorse what you create. The automated checks in sections 4.2 and 10 are a safeguard we run, not a promise that an Output is accurate, lawful, safe, original or free of anyone's rights, and they do not make us responsible for it.

10. Safety, and what the Studio will not make

10.1 You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy.

10.2 The safety screen. Every picture the Studio makes is screened before it is shown. A picture the screen refuses is never shown, and you will read a plain sentence saying what kind of content it was. You can rewrite the shot, or tell us if you think the screen was wrong. You cannot overrule a safety refusal.

10.3 Sexual content involving minors. If a picture involves sexual content and a person who may be under 18, the Studio withholds it. We keep a record of the attempt and may report it to the authorities.

10.4 Real people. The Studio refuses sexual or nude imagery of a real person, including anyone shown in a photo you upload.

11. AI writing with Claude

11.1 The Studio can write and improve scripts with Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. When you use it, your brief, script and notes are sent to Anthropic to produce the text, and Anthropic's usage policy applies to them as well as ours. The writing may decline a request that policy does not allow.

11.2 The writing runs on our own account with Anthropic. We meter it against your plan, so you do not need your own Anthropic account or key.

12. Our right to suspend or close an account

12.1 We may pause a project, suspend an account or close it if:

Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first. We do not have to do so when the law forbids it, when there is a risk of harm, or under section 10.3.

12.2 You can close your account at any time, in your account or by writing to support@optracloud.com.

12.3 When an account closes, unpaid amounts remain due, and sections 8.5, 9, 13, 14, 15 and 18 continue.

13. Disclaimers

13.1 The Studio, its checks and all Outputs are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law permits, we give no warranty of any kind about them, express or implied. This includes merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, originality, quiet enjoyment, that an Output is lawful, safe or suitable for any use, that an Output does not infringe someone else's rights, and that our checks will catch every defect.

13.2 We do not promise that the Studio will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time.

13.3 Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by contract.

14. We are not liable

14.1 To the fullest extent the law permits, Globussoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd., its directors, officers, employees, contractors and suppliers are not liable to you, or to anyone who claims through you or is affected by what you create, for any loss, damage, claim or cost of any kind that arises from or is connected with the Studio or its Outputs, on any legal basis (contract, tort including negligence, statute or otherwise). This includes loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, and indirect or consequential loss.

14.2 In particular we have no liability for any content created through the Studio: for its accuracy, lawfulness, originality or fitness for any purpose; for any claim by a third party about it, including claims about a real person's likeness, voice or work, copyright, trade marks, defamation or privacy; or for how it is used, published or shared by you or by anyone else.

14.3 Nothing limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

14.4 If the law does not allow a part of this section to apply to a claim, that part applies to the claim to the fullest extent the law allows, and the rest of this section still applies.

15. Your responsibility to us

You will defend and indemnify Globussoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors and suppliers against every third-party claim, and the losses, damages, fines, costs and reasonable legal fees it causes, that arise from any content you create with or share through the Studio (your Inputs and Outputs), from your use, publication or sharing of it, or from your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. This covers claims by people whose likeness, voice or work you used or whose rights an Output is said to affect, and claims by authorities.

16. Complaints, copyright and grievances

16.1 Questions and support: support@optracloud.com. Reports of misuse: support@optracloud.com.

16.2 If you believe content in the Studio infringes your rights, write to support@optracloud.com with:

We will act on it as the law requires.

16.3 Grievance officer. Sumit Ghosh, support@optracloud.com, Globussoft Tower Behind Bank of Baroda, Hi-Tek Hospital Road, Smriti Nagar, Junwani, Bhilai, Dist, Durg, Chhattisgarh 490020, India. We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.

17. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change that reduces your rights takes effect, and the Studio will ask you to accept the new version at your next sign-in. If you do not accept it, you may cancel and close your account, and section 6.6 applies. Changes the law requires, or that only fix errors, can take effect sooner.

18. Law and disputes

18.1 These terms are governed by the laws of India, as applied in the State of Chhattisgarh.

18.2 The courts of Chhattisgarh, India hear any dispute about these terms. Consumers in some markets keep the right to sue at home, which a contract cannot remove.

19. General

19.1 If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

19.2 If we do not enforce a term at once, we can still enforce it later.

19.3 You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it to a company that takes over the Studio, and will tell you if we do.

19.4 We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.

19.5 These terms are the whole agreement between us about the Studio.

19.6 Notices to you go to your account's email address. Notices to us go to support@optracloud.com and Globussoft Tower Behind Bank of Baroda, Hi-Tek Hospital Road, Smriti Nagar, Junwani, Bhilai, Dist, Durg, Chhattisgarh 490020, India.
