Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: 9 October 2026

This policy says what you may not make or do with Optra Studio. It is part of the Terms of Service.

1. What the Studio is for

Optra Studio is made for films. Films deal with war, crime, violence, grief, faith, politics and adult relationships, and the Studio is meant to tell those stories. This policy is about the narrow set of things no story needs, and about using the service fairly.

2. Never allowed: refused by the Studio, and never overridden

2.1 Sexual content involving minors. No sexual or sexualised depiction of anyone who is, or appears to be, under 18: real or fictional, drawn or realistic, in words or in pictures. No nudity of a minor in a sexual context. No story that presents the sexual abuse of a child approvingly or in sexual detail.

The Studio screens the pictures it makes for this. A picture it finds is withheld. We keep a record of it and may report it to the authorities.

2.2 Sexual imagery of real people. No nude or sexual depiction of a real, identifiable person, whether from a photo you upload, a name, or a likeness, with or without their claimed consent.

3. Not allowed

You may not use the Studio to make, or try to make:

3.1 anything that is illegal where you are, or where we are, or that helps someone commit a crime;

3.2 any depiction, voice or likeness of a real person without their consent. This includes:

3.3 deepfakes meant to deceive: fake news, fake evidence, election material that misleads voters, or anything presented as a real recording of real events when it is not;

3.4 non-consensual intimate imagery of anyone;

3.5 content that threatens, harasses, bullies or exposes the private information of a real person;

3.6 content that incites violence against people, or promotes terrorism or violent extremism;

3.7 Hate content: content that attacks people for their religion, caste, race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability, and hate symbols where the law forbids them.

3.8 sexually explicit content: sexual acts shown or described in explicit detail. Artistic nudity is allowed; this rule, and sections 2.1 and 2.2, apply to every customer;

3.9 content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights, including uploading material you do not have the right to use;

3.10 removing the watermark from a free-tier film, or misrepresenting a free-tier film as made on a paid plan;

3.11 Removing a machine-readable AI marking from an Output, where the law requires one.

4. Using the service fairly

You may not:

4.1 open more than one account to receive the free tier again, or share an account between people;

4.2 use scripts, bots or automated tools to drive the Studio, except through features we provide for that purpose;

4.3 try to get around the Studio's limits, checks or safety screen. That includes splitting a request, encoding it or disguising it to get past a refusal;

4.4 attack, overload, probe or scan the Studio, or try to reach another customer's projects or our systems;

4.5 copy, scrape or reverse engineer the service, its models or its checks, beyond what the law allows;

4.6 resell access to the Studio, or use it to offer a competing service, without our written agreement.

5. AI writing

When you use AI writing, your brief and script are also sent to Anthropic, and its usage policy applies to them. The writing may decline a request that policy does not allow, even where this policy would allow it.

6. What we do when this policy is broken

Depending on what happened, we may:

Under section 2, the Studio acts at once and automatically. In other cases we will, where we can, tell you what we found and give you a chance to fix it.

7. If we got it wrong

Automated checks make mistakes. If the Studio refused something you believe this policy allows, use "This finding is wrong" or "Ask us" on the shot, and a person will review it. A refusal under section 2.1 is reviewed only by a person at Optra, and the picture is never shown.

8. Reporting misuse

To report content made with Optra Studio that you believe breaks this policy or your rights, write to support@optracloud.com with what you saw and where. Our grievance officer is Sumit Ghosh, support@optracloud.com, Globussoft Tower Behind Bank of Baroda, Hi-Tek Hospital Road, Smriti Nagar, Junwani, Bhilai, Dist, Durg, Chhattisgarh 490020, India.
